Subclass 500 Visa: The Genuine Student Test and What It Costs
The Genuine Student (GS) requirement replaced the old GTE test in March 2024, and it is now one of the most heavily assessed parts of the application. You answer structured questions inside the online form about your study choice, your circumstances and your intentions. A generic or copied answer is among the most common reasons for refusal — this is the section that decides borderline cases, and it deserves more preparation than most applicants give it.
